    New info on the site

    March 5th, 2010

There are lots of new ways that you can use the web to keep up with local news, and one of the most interesting tools is twitter.com. There are two local uses of twitter that we can also use here on blurtonvision, thanks to the way they share information publically.

Stoke on Trent City Council have a twitter new page (twitter.com/SoTCityCouncil) and there is also a very useful site sharing traffic info (twitter.com/stoketraffic). We’ve added both of these to the latest news on the right hand side so that you can see what’s happening across Stoke.

Another great source of info can be found at Openly Local, which as information about the whole city, or just the Blurton area including news on the latest committee meetings.

    Blurton Festival

    August 9th, 2009

Today we’ll be launching the web site for it’s first test at the Blurton Summer Festival. Come along and talk to us about the site and the things it could do for your neighbourhood. We’ll be taking pictures, making audio recordings and mapping more of the streets so come and join us at the Blurton Primary School off Poplar Drive.
